Each competing group will have 12 minutes for their set list. There are no limitations on song type or duration, other than the obvious requirement that the songs be a cappella with no accompanying instruments. We will provide the necessary mic'ing and sound techs. This competition is open to all North Carolina a cappella groups (high school, collegiate, and post-collegiate). Each group will be charged a fee of $150 to participate in the competition. These funds will be used to cover our event space, sound technicians, and grand prize!

The winning a cappella group will receive our BRAC trophy, as well as funds to be used for a cappella-related purposes. 

All groups participating in the competition are expected to participate in the daily workshops and should arrive between 11am and 12pm on Saturday May 14th at UNC Asheville, NC for check in. 

If you would like to compete in the BRAC, please include your group's name, an email address where you can be reached, and a brief message of intent saying that you would like to compete and. Our organizer will be in touch and will need your set list information, as well as a picture of your group and a brief bio to put in our program. Final day to register your group is Friday April 15th.
